Show your finished design. Explain what you were trying to accomplish. Describe the fonts you chose and what they express.
For my final design, I wanted something that wasn't going to distract the viewer from the real piece of art. A simple, professional, and timeless look is what I was shooting for. This is why my graphic consists of a simple, but creative arrangement of my initials, and a simple font with a bit of flair to make it my own.

Explain your use of Line and Shape. How does your final design create a balance between Positive and Negative Space? Why do you like your final design and does it express something about yourself?
I focused primarly on lines for my final logo, preferring the more relaxed and simple lines to the more bold shapes. I also used my Wacom Tablet to draw the graphis and the flair under the text. I believe there is enough Positive Space to off-set the Negative Space without being too loud and obvious. I like my final design because of the simplicity, but personal aspect to it, as I have used the graphic as a signature for quite a while.
Show some of your rough drafts. Briefly describe the creative process you used to come to your final logo design. Describe the process of how you created your final design. (Use the terminology of Illustrator.)
In Illustrator I was really interested in doing something fun with the anchor points on the text-made-outlines to manipulate the text to something fun and creative. I paired those with a simple graphic to balance busy with calm. After experimenting with the text, I decided to try out the shape and pen tools, creating an exciting graphic paired with simple text. I tried to find larger designs that I liked, but found that the bolder the design, the less attached to it I was. If I had not gone with the final I am showing above, the one to it's right, the modified black text, or the top right one (LAMB), would probably have been my final choice.
